Welcome to Tim Hunter's Independent Music Site.

Tim has been composing music for over 35 years. He has had a lot of his compositions broadcast on National Radio in the UK as well as Europe.

In the 1970s he led a number of guitar based rock groups, some of which achieved airplay on local and National BBC radio.

In the 1980s Tim continued composing songs and instrumentals and developed strong recording skills to become a ‘one-man band’. His recordings now combine well structured melodic backing tracks with traditional guitar/ vocals to create a unique soft rock/ pop style. Strongly influenced by 1970’s Progressive Rock and with a ‘Singer Songwriter’ style, Tim’s music is distinctively English sounding. He has released a number of CDs of instrumentals and songs, many of which have received airplay and good reviews. He has also received 'Honourable Mention ' in Songwriting competitions.
